Dear CCRetirees members and spouses in the Windsor/Essex area.
After nearly two and one-half years of covid-related hibernation, it is time to try and resume some normalities in our lives.
To try and get back to such normality, the board of directors of CCRetirees is inviting all Full and Legacy members in good standing and their spouses to a special luncheon subsidized by our Organization on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 at 11:30 at Beach Grove Country and Golf Club, 14134 Riverside Dr. East in Tecumseh ON.
The cost to you is $20.00 per person and due to fire safety regulations, we are limited to a maximum of 175 patrons, therefore we request that you RSVP no later than: Wednesday, August 10th by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
There will be absolutely no walk-in admittance at the door and only members who are on the RSVP list will be allowed to enter, you may wear a mask if so desire.
Dress is business casual and there will be a cash bar for your convenience.
We the board are anxious to continue our effort to be your voice with Stellantis, while continuing to pursue pension protection law changes for our peers who do not have annuitization like most of us have achieved.
We also would like to solicit input from you on what are some of the important issues that you as a member would like us to pursue. Not limited to pension issues but maybe Health care benefits, Company lease car, etc.
You may email your idea prior to the luncheon if you prefer to do so.
As a guest speaker, we have Mr. Mike Powell, president of the Canadian Federation of Pensioners (CFP) who will give us an update on the status of pension legislation.
We are holding similar events in other sectors of the Country such as Western Canada, Quebec, and the GTA.
