There have been numerous events that have occurred over the past number of months affecting Chrysler, it’s employees, and retirees. These events have been reported by the media and continue to leave all of us wondering about Chrysler’s future and subsequently our pensions and benefits.

We also know that Canada's pension laws are woefully inadequate to protect you and your pension. And, we understand that you want to be kept informed of future events and activities that are of importance to you and for what you spent most of your working days supporting. Your new “CCRetirees Organization” was formed to help address these concerns and we hope you find membership in your new organization a rewarding experience. This web site has been designed with you in mind and we encourage you to visit it often.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we organized and formed CCRetirees. Please visit the BLOGS and INFO pages of this website to get a sense of where we have been and what has all happened since we first reached out to potential members.

This new organization is a “Not For Profit” legal corporation with all of the legal rights and obligations required under the “Canada Corporations Act” including a board of directors, a description of objectives, financial accountability, and specific rules concerning membership. Having said this, the success of your new organization is dependent on you and what you want it to be. We encourage your input and communication and hope that you will encourage other retirees to join.
