Our long awaited member forum has arrived! After you click on the "Member Forum" link at the bottom of this page, you will be taken to our Forum Welcome Page. The first time you go to the forum, you must register by clicking on the "Register" link in the middle left of the welcome page above the Empty UserName Box. After your forum membership is confirmed by e-mail, you can just enter your chosen UserName and PW to access the Forum. If you have already registered for the Forum, just click the link below, if not PLEASE READ THE REST OF THIS NOTE.
After you click "Register" on the forum welcome page, you will be asked to input a username and password for yourself. Remember that a UserName is sorta like a nickname you use to identify yourself on the system. Normally people use a UserName that maintains their anonymity. Since our forum is not public, CCRetirees would prefer that we all try to use NickNames on the CCRetirees Members Only Forum that would actually indicate who we are in order to add some credibility and familiarity to who we are and to what we might post on the forum.
Please choose something Like "FMLastname" where Capital F is your First Initial, Capital M is your middle initial, and Last is your Full Lastname with its first letter in caps too. UserNames must be just one word. They can be upper or lower case or a mixture of the two. They cannot contain spaces or special characters. Some examples of good user names are HJSmith, PRBrown, RBVilleneuve, etc.
Your password must be one word too, but it must also be alphanumeric and contain both upper & lower case letters as well as numbers. A good example would be something like rp27KXY4. The system will not allow you to choose a simple password.
You must also scroll down the page and input your full First Name, Last Name, and your e-mail address. These are required to allow our forum administrators to validate your membership in CCRetirees. Last but not least, you must enter the correct CAPCHA code from the CAPCHA Box. This prevents web crawlers and other automatic web software tools from automating fake accesses to our forum.
Please Note - Access to the FORUM will be moved to the new Members Only Section shortly after access information for the new site has been distributed to all members.
